Collection consists of correspondence, newspaper clippings, and mimeographed bulletins of Haiku societies related to the life and career of poet and author Setsu Kanehara. Correspondents include friends, family, Issei poets and writers, the Japanese American Research Project, and poets and writers in Japan. The newspaper clippings are of reviews of Kanehara's books. The bulletins of Haiku societies are from Minidoka, Salt Lake City, Ogden, and Denver (ca. 1945-50).
